Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark gold coins are issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, it is legal tender in Armenia.

 

Issued since September 2020, they are minted in 99.99% pure gold and are inspired by the Bible according to which Noah's Ark ran aground in the Ararat Mountains after the flood. Mount Ararat is the national symbol of Armenia. Its characteristic shape is visible from the capital Yerevan.

 

The reverse of the coin depicts Noah's Ark in the center. A white dove with an olive branch flying towards the ark. With Mount Ararat and the rising sun on the back and the inscriptions Noah's Ark in English and Armenian.

 

On the obverse is the coat of arms of Armenia, below it are the denomination of the coin in Armenian diram, fineness, weight and year of issue of the coin.

 

Each gold coin is delivered in an individual and refined plastic box, accompanied by their numbered certificate of authenticity. It is absolutely an aesthetically very successful piece and confirms its growing popularity since its creation in 2020.
